Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a Quality Engineer who can understand our products from the end-user perspective, and who can ensure the delivery of quality solutions to our customers.

Job Responsibilities

As our new Quality Engineer, you will be the voice of the customer in coaching and developing our Operations teams. You will also promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

With focus on increasing the organizations knowledge and use of quality core tools, your mission will be to boost customer confidence by ensuring the quality of future products and processes within Connect & Control Solutions (CCS).

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide support in the use of quality core tools (FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP, 8D). 
  • Analyze product returns as part of the Corrective Action Process
  • Manage supplier Quality in conjunction with external Supplier Quality Group 
  • Audit product and processes according to ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949:2016 standards.

Background & Skills

To be considered for this position you may have an educational background as B.Sc./M.Sc. in engineering or at least some years of solid hands-on experience working with electronics or quality projects. 

Furthermore, we are looking for the following skills and qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP) and broad knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949:2016.
  • Proficient in written as well as spoken English.
  • Electronics knowledge is preferred.

Your proactive nature, coupled with a keen perception, enables you to foster great team dynamics and cultivate relationships across diverse cultural backgrounds. You have a self-starting attitude, taking initiative in setting goals and pursuing necessary course of actions.
