Danfoss Power Solutions Segment's Spool Valves Solution (SVS) is at the forefront of innovation, consistently experiencing high order intake and fueling business development. We're on the lookout for a talented Production Engineer/Technician to join our PVE Operations department within SVS.

We offer you the opportunity to become part of our team, which consists of six highly dedicated and skilled Engineers who prioritize teamwork and embrace diversity.

Your contribution is important in sustaining and advancing our growth journey while developing and improve our KPIs, with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. This involves implementing automation and adopting a "work smarter" approach to ensure continuous improvements.

Job Responsibilities

You will play a crucial role in supporting our New Product Development (NPD) projects from the initial idea phase (M-1) to full implementation (M6), with a focus on operations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop and implement new production methods and technologies, while also providing technical support and training to production staff to ensure the smooth implementation of new products and equipment/processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Implementing new products in our existing processes and systems or identify demands for new processes or rebuild of existing to support the full implementation 
  • Conducting data analysis, including capability studies, to support the PPAP process for full release of new products 
  • Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to address quality issues to reach KPI targets within the project and production in general


Additionally, you will actively contribute to daily production by participating in operational meetings, supporting ongoing production, and maintaining high-quality standards in operations.

Background & Skills

There are many ways into this role for the right candidate. Whether you are an experienced technician or an engineer by education, we value some years of experience in a similar role. However, we are also open to recently graduated engineers with the right attitude.

Most importantly, you should have experience with or a natural flair for working on new product development projects with an operational mindset, focusing on smooth implementation and ensuring a high-quality level after final release. Given our highly automated production environment, proficiency in IT competencies, various digital systems, database structure, and knowledge of MES/MOM are essential. A keen interest in further developing these skills is a must to succeed.

Experience with the following is preferable: SAP, Lean methods, Six Sigma, IATF16949 and data analysis techniques and tools.

As we operate in a multicultural and international environment, proficiency in English is needed. For this role, basic proficiency in Danish is also required or a strong willingness to quickly learn and develop proficiency.

On a more personal level, you demonstrate strength in teamwork, possess effective communication skills, and be adaptable to changes. Your analytical skills enable you to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, showcasing a results-driven approach.
