Job Responsibilities

As our Application Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design engineered, model-based systems that support a wide variety of customer missions. 

Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize our engineering practices. You will gain experience in solving client problems and develop your skills by merging technical skills and systems engineering to create system models.

Furthermore, but not limited to, your responsibilities include:

  • Complete discrete Model-Based Design (MBD) tasks to meet design and project objectives
  • Design thermodynamic systems or sub-systems for future district heating networks
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance application development for electronic controllers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within District Energy networks

Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Education within Mechatronic, controlled systems or similar engineering.
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink is considered a must.
  • Knowledge of control theory in dynamical systems and thermodynamics.
  • Experience with embedded software engineering is a plus, especially if it involves C code
  • Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
