Job Responsibilities
As our Modelling and Control Specialist, you will be responsible for modelling and designing our control solutions using Model-based design and thereby be part of implementing the control application software for embedded systems used in refrigeration and HVAC systems.
By collaboration with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications. You will build a strong network within Danfoss.
Furthermore, but not limited to, you can look forward to:
- Utilizing model-based design techniques to design and develop control algorithms and software architectures.
- Design, develop and implement new control solutions for thermodynamic systems like; refrigeration systems, heat pumps and HVAC systems.
- Staying ahead of industry trends and advancements in control software development and incorporating them into our solutions.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our model-based design capabilities and workflows.
Background & Skills
This position requires a strong background in model-based design, control system design and embedded programming, and a passion for creating efficient and robust control software solutions.
Therefor you must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and experience in control application development and embedded systems.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Experience using MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and control design
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Knowledge about the IEC 61131-3 programming languages.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Git, unit testing, static analysis)
- Experience in developing control software for HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial automation systems.
As a person, you possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and you not only understand but also excel in the importance of effective communication and collaboration abilities.
